Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Phoenix, AZ)

Redstone Ember Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Phoenix. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with store inventory. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
