Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Philadelphia, PA)

Bluepeak Ember Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Philadelphia. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
