Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Oakland, CA)

Greenridge Quarry Transit Planning Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on pricing analysis for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
