Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Madison, WI)

Amberfield Iron Insurance is an insurance company in Madison with claims and service teams, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Madison. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
