Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Madison, WI)

Northwind Forge Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Madison region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
