Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sable Markets Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be pricing analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Houston. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
