Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Harborlight River Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be pricing analysis. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
