Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Grand Rapids, MI)

Highbridge Amber Insurance is an insurance company in Grand Rapids with claims and service teams, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 402 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
