Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Wilder Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Detroit. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
