Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Granite Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Des Moines. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with store inventory. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
