Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Silverline Kestrel Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Des Moines, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
