Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Summit Haven Markets is a Des Moines retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 769 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
