Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Lakeside Energy is an energy provider in Des Moines focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would join a large organisation of about 933 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
