Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Chicago, IL)

Bright Granite Manufacturing Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on pricing analysis for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
