Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Charlotte, NC)

Summit Kestrel Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Charlotte and nearby communities. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading.
