Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Ashton Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Charleston, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
