Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Nova Meridian Civic Services Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be pricing analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
