Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Sparrow Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Birmingham working with agencies and riders, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
