Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Baltimore, MD)

Ironwood Amber Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Baltimore. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
