Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Anchorage, AK)

Summit Birch Energy Group is an energy provider in Anchorage focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
