Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Albuquerque, NM)

Nova Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Albuquerque area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
