Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Wichita, KS)

Northwind Linden Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Wichita. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of sanitation schedules and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
