Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Nova Lantern Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 998 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
