Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 693 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
