Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Basin Civic Services Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
