Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Nova Wilder Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
