Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Lumen Iron Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
