Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Tampa, FL)

Lumen Basin Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Tampa, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
