Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Tampa, FL)

Stonegate Sparrow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Tampa, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
