Financial Analyst - cost modelling (St. Louis, MO)

Harborlight Maple Water Authority is a public water utility serving the St. Louis area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 731 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
