Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Spokane, WA)

Amberfield Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
