Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Spokane, WA)

Amberfield Corner Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 312 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • A relevant degree or certification.
