Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Spokane, WA)

Westbrook Forge Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Spokane. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
