Financial Analyst - cost modelling (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Cross Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around San Jose. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of case files and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
