Financial Analyst - cost modelling (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Amber Early Learning is an early-learning provider in San Diego, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of enrolment and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
