Financial Analyst - cost modelling (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Ember Financial and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 812 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of loan applications and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
