Financial Analyst - cost modelling (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Bridge Transit Planning helps transport agencies around San Diego design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
