Financial Analyst - cost modelling (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Juniper Energy is an energy provider in San Antonio focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of service connections and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
