Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Salt Lake City, UT)

Stonegate Cross Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
