Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Basin Foods Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of customer specifications and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
