Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Sacramento, CA)

Amberfield Timber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Sacramento. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of school calendars and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
