Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Oak Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Sacramento plant, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
