Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Thistle Learning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of school calendars and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
