Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Junction Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
