Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Sacramento, CA)

Nova Ridge Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Sacramento. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
