Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Rochester, NY)

Harborlight Lantern Early Learning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for tuition and subsidies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 622 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Model the cost of tuition and subsidies and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with licensing records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
