Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Bright Hollow Transit Planning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
