Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Richmond, VA)

Harborlight Juniper Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Richmond serving households and small businesses, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of deposit accounts and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with account openings. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
