Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Reno, NV)

Summit Glen Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Reno working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
