Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Reno, NV)

Summit Thistle Financial is a financial-services company in Reno. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 203 people based in Reno. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of account servicing and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
